My Life.

So, last night I was giving my youngest son a bath. He wanted to wash his crocs because they were dirty. Fine, whatever. So he puts his crocs in the tub with him. Next thing I know, he's yelling & crying. I go into the bathroom to find my other 5 yr old putting the rest of their shoes in the bathtub with Ziah! Yes, all of them--his crocs, their light up shoes, 2 pr of cleats, 2 pr of flip-flops, another pair of crocs, you get the picture! The whole tub was covered with floating boys' shoes with 1 crying 5 yr old in the middle!! I was so worried about getting the shoes out so they didn't get ruined (you know, leather & light up shoes and water don't really mix). Anyway, I finally cleared out the tub & asked Ziah why he was crying. He finally calmed down & through big crocodile tears stated.."my bathwater is all dirty!!"

Today I wish I had gotten a picture, but I still have all the soaking wet shoes!! hahaha :)

ahhh......spring? or winter?!

so, the boys have started t-ball again. we're on a different team b/c daddy works out of town & can't coach this year!:( Anyway, they're having a good time, so far, but it's just so darn cold! They have had 2 games and I thought I needed to wear a coat. Our team doesn't keep score, so it's just all fun. We were supposed to have a game March 28th...(see photos)HA! It would have been funny to see them trying to find the ball in that!!LOL
Jake is going to be in Cheaper by the Dozen, which is being put on by the Sand Springs Community Theatre. It is going to run from April 16-20th. He has really been putting in a lot of hours practicing. He doesn't have that big of a part, but I have heard the director wishes they would have given him a "meatier" part because they didn't realize how good he was. I'm sure he'll tryout again, so, I wouldn't be surprised if he gets a lead part someday.

This is the last depressing blog...I promise!

So, last night, I was told we can't get Isabel anymore. I don't understand it, but I am looking at all my options, which include legal! I got so attached to her and I don't know whether to cut my losses and move on or make a HUGE deal out of this. I believe God brought me into her life for a reason, and vice versa. It's really depressing and I need to find a hobby or go back to work....haha, yeah, I need to find a hobby! So, next time, I'll only update you guys on fun, exciting things. I don't know how fun and exciting they'll be for you, but for me, that's all my life is! HA
Sorry, these are the newest pictures I have. I only wanted a picture of John and I, but of course my boys (in their underwear) had to each be in a picture with us, and take one of us, so here they are! I'm in a class on Wednesdays nights at church that is a bible study where we are making a scrapbook. I've never made a scrapbook, but I'm liking it so far, I just have to make copies of all the pictures I have saved on the computer, so it takes a while. Anyway, the boys are waiting for me to play a board game with them, so I guess I'll do that---we've been doing a lot of that in the past couple of days. I'm just glad we have heat this time around!

Isabel was such a good sport. She had that stomach virus and doesn't like getting her hair fixed, anyway! She is so fun! I'm pretty excited right now because I get to pick her up in the morning. We get to keep her for the rest of the week!
I also get to find out what is going to happen with my lawsuit against Tulsa County. For those of you that don't know----a sheriff backed into me almost a year ago. The district attorney decided the deputy was not at fault. Uh, hello, he backed into me. Anyway, I happen to be related to several lawyers, so.... We are going to court this Friday!! Finally, I might get my van fixed. I'm pretty tired driving around in my beat up Honda Odyssey.
So, this week is turning out pretty awesome (I Hope). It looks promising. :)

Missing Her!!

well, I'm pretty bummed right now because Isabel went back to my uncle & aunt's house. We get to see her on the weekends now, I guess. I don't know how long that's gonna last, because we all miss her so much during the week. She's only been gone since Christmas, so it's only been 2 weekends. I think it'll be harder for us & her as she gets older--for her to go back. Hopefully things will change once they get custody of her. We are just praying and thinking of any way to make it through this phase. keep us in your prayers!!
